Educational Q&A

The verse teaches that righteous action—especially truthfulness, faith, disciplined sacrifice, and restraint in consumption—purifies even the sphere of warfare and leads to a meritorious destiny culminating in the vision of the Supreme Truth.

Takṣya describes the spiritual outcome for virtuous fighters who maintain sacrificial discipline and truth-vows: they attain the fragrant ‘world of cows’ and there behold the Divine as the Supreme Reality.
