Kubera-prasāda-vihāra and Counsel on Ajñātavāsa (कुबेरप्रसादविहारः तथा अज्ञातवासोपदेशः)
तत उक्तो भगवता दिष्टमत्रेति भारत भवितान्तस्त्वमप्येषां देहेनानयेन शत्रुहन्,भरतनन्दन! उनके ऐसा कहनेपर भगवान् ब्रह्माने कहा--“शत्रुदमन देवराज! इसमें दैवका यही विधान है कि तुम्हीं दूसरा शरीर धारण करके इन दानवोंका अन्त कर सकोगे”
tata ukto bhagavatā diṣṭam atreti bhārata bhavitāntas tvam apy eṣāṃ dehenānyena śatruhan bharatanandana
โอ้ผู้สืบสายภารตะ! ครั้นพวกเขากล่าวดังนั้นแล้ว พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพรหมตรัสว่า “โอ้ผู้ปราบศัตรู โอ้เทวราช! ในเรื่องนี้เป็นบัญชาของลิขิตสวรรค์ว่า แม้ท่านเองจักทรงรับกายอื่น และด้วยหนทางนั้นเองจักยังความสิ้นสุดแก่เหล่าทานวะเหล่านี้”
