एतस्मिन्नेव काले तु सर्ववादित्रनि:स्वन: । बभूव तुमुल:ः शब्दस्त्वन्तरिक्षे दिवौकसाम्,इसी समय अन्तरिक्षमें देवताओंके सम्पूर्ण वाद्योंकी तुमुल ध्वनि गूँज उठी
etasminn eva kāle tu sarvavāditra-niḥsvanaḥ | babhūva tumulaḥ śabdas tv antarīkṣe divaukasām ||
ในขณะนั้นเอง ณ เวหาหาว ก็เกิดเสียงกึกก้องอึงอล—เป็นเสียงประโคมแห่งเครื่องดุริยางค์ทั้งปวงของเหล่าเทพ—ดังกระหึ่มไปทั่วนภา
वैशम्पायन उवाच
