Indra’s Meeting with the Pāṇḍavas
विरराम महातेजास्तमेवार्थ विचिन्तयन् । वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! धर्मात्मा भाई महातेजस्वी कुन्तीपुत्र युधिष्ठिर अर्थतत्त्वके विभागको ठीक-ठीक जाननेवाले थे। वे धर्मसे कभी च्युत न होनेवाले अपने भाई भीमसेनसे उपर्युक्त बातें कहकर चुप हो गये और उसी विषयपर बार-बार विचार करने लगे

ไวศัมปายนกล่าวว่า—โอ้ชนเมชัย! ผู้ทรงเดชนั้นก็สงบนิ่งลง พลางครุ่นคิดอยู่กับเรื่องเดิมนั้น ครั้นกล่าวถ้อยคำเหล่านั้นแก่ภีมเสนผู้เป็นอนุชาแล้ว ยุธิษฐิระโอรสกุนตี ผู้ตั้งมั่นในธรรม รู้จำแนกหลักแห่งอรรถได้ถูกต้อง และไม่เอนเอียงจากธรรม ก็หยุดวาจาและใคร่ครวญเรื่องนั้นซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่า
