वध्यमानास्ततो लोका:ः सागरैर्मन्दबुद्धिभि: । ब्रह्माणं शरणं जग्मु: सहिता: सर्वदेवतै:,मन्दबुद्धि सगरपुत्रोंद्वारा सताये हुए सब लोग सम्पूर्ण देवताओंके साथ ब्रह्माजीकी शरणमें गये
vadhyamānās tato lokāḥ sāgarair mandabuddhibhiḥ | brahmāṇaṃ śaraṇaṃ jagmuḥ sahitāḥ sarvadevatābhiḥ ||
ครั้นแล้วหมู่ชนทั้งปวงซึ่งถูกโอรสแห่งสครผู้ปัญญาทึบข่มเหงและเบียดเบียน ก็พร้อมด้วยเหล่าเทพทั้งสิ้นไปพึ่งพระพรหมเป็นที่พึ่ง
लोगश उवाच
When rulers or powerful groups act without discernment and harm the innocent, dharma is upheld by seeking protection and adjudication from a higher, impartial authority; collective appeal and alignment with righteous powers (the gods) is portrayed as a legitimate response to oppression.
The populace, suffering violence at the hands of Sagara’s sons, goes—along with all the deities—to Brahmā to seek refuge and intervention, indicating an escalation of the crisis to the highest divine level for resolution.
