विदुरस्य कृष्णं प्रति शमोपदेशः
Vidura’s Counsel to Krishna on the Limits of Peace
तदनन्तर उन्होंने अनेक प्रकारके पवित्र एवं गुणकारक अन्न-पान महात्मा केशवको अर्पित किये ।। तैस्तर्पयित्वा प्रथमं ब्राह्मणान् मघुसूदन: । वेदविद्धयो ददौ कृष्ण: परमद्रविणान्यपि,मधुसूदनने उस अन्न-पानसे पहले ब्राह्मणोंको तृप्त किया, फिर उन्होंने उन वेदवेत्ताओंको श्रेष्ठ धन भी दिया
tad-anantaraṁ tair aneka-prakāraiḥ pavitraiḥ guṇa-kārakaiś ca anna-pānaiḥ mahātmā keśavo 'rpitaḥ || tais tarpayitvā prathamaṁ brāhmaṇān madhusūdanaḥ | veda-vidbhyo dadau kṛṣṇaḥ paramadraviṇāny api ||
ต่อจากนั้นได้ถวายอาหารและเครื่องดื่มอันบริสุทธิ์และเกื้อกูลคุณธรรมหลากหลายแด่มหาตมะเกศวะ มธุสูทนะทรงให้พราหมณ์ทั้งหลายอิ่มเอมด้วยภักษานั้นก่อน แล้วพระกฤษณะยังประทานทรัพย์อันประเสริฐแก่ผู้รู้พระเวทด้วย
