सर्व: पुत्रै: प्रियतरा द्रौपदी मे जनार्दन । कुलीना रूपसम्पन्ना सर्वे: समुदिता गुणै:ः,'जनार्दन! ट्रुपदकुमारी कृष्णा मुझे अपने सभी पुत्रोंसे अधिक प्रिय है। वह कुलीन, अनुपम सुन्दरी तथा समस्त सदगुणोंसे सम्पन्न है

sarvaḥ putraiḥ priyatarā draupadī me janārdana | kulīnā rūpasampannā sarvaiḥ samuditā guṇaiḥ ||

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “โอ้ชนารทนะ ดรौปทีเป็นที่รักของข้าพเจ้ายิ่งกว่าบุตรทั้งปวง นางมีชาติกำเนิดสูงส่ง งามพร้อม และบริบูรณ์ด้วยคุณธรรมทุกประการ”
