Omens and Reception During Keśava’s Departure
कौमुदे मासि रेवत्यां शरदन्ते हिमागमे । स्फीतसस्यसुखे काले कल्प: सत्त्ववतां वर:
kaumude māsi revatyāṃ śarad-ante himāgame | sphīta-sasya-sukhe kāle kalpaḥ sattvavatāṃ varaḥ ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “ในเดือนเกามุทะ ภายใต้นักษัตรเรวตี—เมื่อปลายสารทฤดูและเหมันตฤดูเริ่มมา—เป็นกาลที่พืชผลอุดม ความสุขแพร่หลาย เป็นฤดูกาลอันประเสริฐยิ่งสำหรับผู้ทรงสัตตวะ”
