Educational Q&A

The verse underscores steadfast loyalty to a trusted, dharmic ally: Baladeva expresses that he cannot even briefly remain without Kṛṣṇa, presenting companionship and fidelity to righteous guidance as an ethical commitment rather than mere sentiment.

Baladeva reports that a certain spoken proposal or statement did not meet with Keśava’s acceptance, and he then declares his own inability to stay apart from Kṛṣṇa even for a moment—emphasizing his alignment with Kṛṣṇa’s judgment and presence.
