निगृह्मोक्तो हृषीकेशस्त्वदर्थ कुरुनन्दन । मया सम्बन्धकं तुल्यमिति राजन् पुनः पुन:
nigṛhmyokto hṛṣīkeśas tvadartha kurunandana | mayā sambandhakaṁ tulyam iti rājan punaḥ punaḥ ||
โอ กุรุนันทนะ! เพื่อประโยชน์ของท่าน พระหฤษีเกศ (พระกฤษณะ) ถูกวิงวอนซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่า—ประหนึ่งถูกกดดันให้กระทำ. และโอ พระราชา! เรากล่าวย้ำครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่าว่า ความผูกพันทางเครือญาติของเราต่อทั้งสองฝ่ายนั้นเสมอกัน; เพราะฉะนั้นเราจึงต้องกล่าวและกระทำด้วยความสำรวมอย่างเป็นกลาง.
