बृहस्पतिस्तु पप्रच्छ ब्रह्माणं काविमाविति । भवन्तं नोपतिछेते तौ न: शंस पितामह,यह देख बृहस्पतिजीने ब्रह्माजीसे पूछा--'पितामह! ये दोनों कौन हैं, जिन्होंने आपका अभिनन्दन भी नहीं किया। हमें इनका परिचय दीजिये”
Bṛhaspatistu papraccha Brahmāṇaṃ kāvimāv iti | bhavantaṃ nopatiṣṭhete tau naḥ śaṃsa pitāmaha ||
เมื่อเห็นดังนั้น พฤหัสบดีจึงทูลถามพระพรหมว่า “ข้าแต่ปิตามหะ บุรุษทั้งสองนี้เป็นผู้ใด? เขามิได้แม้แต่ลุกขึ้นถวายความเคารพแด่พระองค์ตามสมควร โปรดบอกให้พวกเรารู้เถิดว่าเขาเป็นใคร”
