महाभये वीतभय: कृतास्त्र: समागमे शत्रुबलावमर्दी । सकृद् रथेनाप्रतिमान् रथौघान् पदातिसंघान् गदयाभिनिध्नन्
sañjaya uvāca |
mahābhaye vītabhayaḥ kṛtāstraḥ samāgame śatrubalāvamardī |
sakṛd rathenāpratimān rathaughān padātisaṅghān gadayābhinighnan ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “แม้ท่ามกลางภัยใหญ่เขาก็มิหวาดหวั่น เชี่ยวชาญศัสตราวุธทั้งปวง และในสนามรบย่ำยีเรี่ยวแรงศัตรู ภีมเสนขึ้นเพียงรถศึกคันเดียว จักฟาดด้วยกระบองบดขยี้หมู่รถศึกอันมหาศาลและแนวทหารราบอันหนาแน่น เมื่อนั้นกลางศึกเอง บุตรแห่งธฤตราษฏระจักสำนึกเสียใจอยู่ในใจว่าได้ก่อสงครามนี้ขึ้น”
