हिया ज्ञानेन तपसा दमेन शौर्येणाथो धर्मगुप्त्या धनेन । अन्यायवृत्ति: कुरुपाण्डवेया- नध्यातिष्ठेद् धार्तराष्ट्रो दुरात्मा
hrīyā jñānena tapasā damena śauryeṇātho dharmaguptyā dhanena | anyāyavṛttiḥ kurupāṇḍaveyān adhyātiṣṭhed dhārtarāṣṭro durātmā ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—ดุรโยธนะ โอรสแห่งธฤตราษฏระ ผู้มีจิตชั่วและประพฤติอธรรม พึงแสวงหาอำนาจเหนือเหล่ากุรุและบุตรแห่งปาณฑุ มิใช่ด้วยความอยุติธรรม หากด้วยความละอายอันเป็นคุณธรรม ความรู้แท้ ตบะ การสำรวมอินทรีย์ ความกล้าหาญ การพิทักษ์ธรรม และทรัพย์ที่ได้มาโดยชอบธรรม อำนาจมิอาจตั้งมั่นด้วยการทำผิด; ย่อมได้มาด้วยคุณธรรมที่ชนะใจคน.
