अक्रोधेन जयेत् क्रोधमसाधुं साधुना जयेत् । जयेत् कदर्य दानेन जयेत् सत्येन चानृतम्,अक्रोधसे क्रोधको जीते, असाधुको सद-व्यवहारसे वशमें करे, कृपणको दानसे जीते और झूठ-पर सत्यसे विजय प्राप्त करे
akrodhena jayet krodham asādhuṁ sādhunā jayet | jayet kadaryaṁ dānena jayet satyena cānṛtam ||
จงชนะความโกรธด้วยความไม่โกรธ; จงชนะคนชั่วด้วยความประพฤติของคนดี; จงชนะคนตระหนี่ด้วยทาน; และจงชนะความเท็จด้วยสัจจะ.
