प्राज्ञोपसेविन वैद्यं धार्मिकं प्रियदर्शनम् । मित्रवन्तं सुवाक्यं च सुहृदं परिपालयेत्,जो दविद्वानोंकी सेवामें रहनेवाला, वैद्य, धार्मिक, देखनेमें सुन्दर, मित्रोंसे युक्त तथा मधुरभाषी हो, ऐसे सुहृदकी सर्वथा रक्षा करनी चाहिये
prājñopasevinaṃ vaidyaṃ dhārmikaṃ priyadarśanam | mitravantaṃ suvākyaṃ ca suhṛdaṃ paripālayet ||
พึงคุ้มครองและอุปถัมภ์สหายผู้หวังดีด้วยความเพียร—ผู้คบหาปราชญ์และรับใช้ท่าน, ชำนาญดุจแพทย์, ตั้งมั่นในธรรม, งามน่าดู, มีมิตรสหายมาก, และกล่าววาจาไพเราะเหมาะควร—สหายเช่นนี้ควรรักษาไว้ทุกประการ
