War-aversion, Desire as a Policy Fault, and Analysis of Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Governance
एवंरूपं कर्मफल नरेन्द्र मात्रावहं हृदयस्य प्रियेण । स क्रोधजं पाण्डव हर्षजं च लोकावुभौ मा प्रहासीश्चिराय
sañjaya uvāca | evaṃrūpaṃ karmaphalaṃ narendra mātrāvahaṃ hṛdayasya priyeṇa | sa krodhajaṃ pāṇḍava harṣajaṃ ca lokāv ubhau mā prahāsīś cirāya narendra ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—“โอ้ พระราชา ไม่ควรอธิษฐานขอผลกรรมเช่นนั้น อันถูกตวงวัดด้วยสิ่งที่เป็นที่รักแก่ดวงใจ. โอ้ โอรสแห่งปาณฑุ ขอท่านอย่าได้ตกไปเนิ่นนานในโลกทั้งสองนั้น คือ นรกอันเกิดจากโทสะ และสวรรค์อันเกิดจากความยินดีที่ผูกพัน.”
