ताः प्रेषितास्तत्त्वभावं विदित्वा प्रीत्या राज्ञे तच्छशंसुर्हि सर्वम्‌ । शिखण्डिनं पुरुष कौरवेन्द्र दाशार्णराजाय महानुभावम्‌,कौरवराज! उन भेजी हुई युवतियोंने वास्तविक बात जानकर राजा हिरण्यवर्माको बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ सब कुछ बता दिया। उन्होंने दशार्णगजको यह विश्वास दिला दिया कि शिखण्डी महान्‌ प्रभावशाली पुरुष है

Transliteration

tāḥ preṣitās tattvabhāvaṁ viditvā prītyā rājñe tac chaśaṁsur hi sarvam | śikhaṇḍinaṁ puruṣa kauravendra dāśārṇarājāya mahānubhāvam ||

Translation

บรรดาหญิงสาวที่ถูกส่งไปนั้น ครั้นรู้ความจริงแล้วก็ทูลรายงานแก่พระราชาด้วยความยินดีทุกประการ และทำให้พระราชาแห่งทศารณะมั่นพระทัยว่า ศิขัณฑินเป็นบุรุษผู้ทรงอานุภาพยิ่ง
