Śikhaṇḍinī’s Marriage Arrangement and the Daśārṇa Envoy’s Accusation (शिखण्डिनी-विवाह-विप्रलम्भ-प्रसङ्गः)

एतच्छुत्वा द्रुपदो यज्ञसेन: सर्व तत्त्वं मन्त्रविद्धयो निवेद्य । मन्त्र राजा मन्त्रयामास राजन्‌ यथायुक्तं रक्षणे वै प्रजानाम्‌

etac chrutvā drupado yajñasenaḥ sarva-tattvaṁ mantraviddhyo nivedya | mantra-rājā mantrayāmāsa rājan yathā-yuktaṁ rakṣaṇe vai prajānām ||

ครั้นได้ฟังดังนั้น ทรุปทะผู้มีนามว่ายัชญเสนะก็รายงานเรื่องทั้งหมดโดยถูกต้องแก่เสนาบดีผู้รอบรู้ของตน แล้วแต่บัดนั้น ข้าแต่พระราชา ด้วยมุ่งหมายคุ้มครองไพร่ฟ้าประชาราษฎร์ พระองค์จึงประชุมปรึกษาลับกับสภามนตรีอีกครั้ง และจัดวางมาตรการอันสมควรเพื่อพิทักษ์อาณาประชาราษฎร์
