एवं गते वै यद्‌ भावि तद्‌ भविष्यति संजय । क्षत्रधर्म: किल रणे तनुत्यागो हि पूजित:

Transliteration

evaṃ gate vai yad bhāvi tad bhaviṣyati saṃjaya | kṣatradharmaḥ kila raṇe tanutyāgo hi pūjitaḥ ||

Translation

โอ้สัญชัย! เมื่อเรื่องราวมาถึงเพียงนี้แล้ว สิ่งใดที่ถูกกำหนดไว้ย่อมต้องเกิดขึ้นจริง เขากล่าวกันว่า ในสนามรบ ธรรมของกษัตริย์นักรบ (กษัตริยะ) คือการสละกาย—ยอมรับความตายในศึก—ซึ่งได้รับการยกย่อง
