भीष्मद्रोणयोर्दुर्योधनं प्रति शमोपदेशः | Bhīṣma and Droṇa’s Counsel of Conciliation to Duryodhana
स सत्यसंधो बीभत्सु: सव्यसाची यथाच्युत । तथा त्वमेव जानासि बलवन्तं दुरासदम्,अच्युत! सव्यसाची अर्जुन जैसा सत्यप्रतिज्ञ है तथा उसमें जितना बल एवं दुर्जय शक्ति है, उसे तुम्हीं जानते हो
sa satyasaṃdho bībhatsuḥ savyasācī yathācyuta | tathā tvam eva jānāsi balavantaṃ durāsadam ||
โอ้อจุตะ อรชุนผู้สัตย์มั่น ผู้ก่อความสะพรึง และผู้ยิงธนูได้ด้วยสองมือ เป็นดังที่ท่านรู้จักโดยแท้ ท่านผู้เดียวรู้ถ่องแท้ถึงกำลังของเขาและความยากยิ่งที่จะปราบได้
