गालव उवाच
The verse emphasizes purposeful action guided by recognized sacred priorities: begin with the East because it is traditionally associated with divine proximity, and one should align one’s journey or duty with such dharmic orientation.
Gālava instructs someone to proceed first toward the eastern quarter, citing that the person has already affirmed the special presence of the gods there; it functions as practical counsel grounded in accepted sacred geography.
