Transliteration

mauśale sārvaguṇikaṃ gandhamālyānulepanam | āśramavāsikaparvaṇi brāhmaṇān haviṣpabhojanaṃ kārayet | mauśalaparvaṇi sarvaguṇasampanna-annam candanaṃ mālāṃ ca anulepanaṃ ca dadyāt |

Translation

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—ในมൗสลปัรวะ พึงให้ทานอันครบพร้อมด้วยคุณความดีทั้งปวง คือของหอม พวงมาลัย และเครื่องชโลมกาย ในอาศรมวาสิกปัรวะ พึงจัดให้พราหมณ์ได้ฉันภัตตาหารที่ปรุงจากหวิษย์ (เครื่องบูชายัญ) ดังนี้ ในมൗสลปัรวะ การถวายอาหารอันประณีต จันทน์ พวงมาลัย และเครื่องชโลมกาย ย่อมธำรงธรรมด้วยความเคารพ ความบริสุทธิ์ และความเอื้อเฟื้อ.
