स्वस्ति वाच्य द्विजानादौ ततः कार्ये प्रवर्तिते । समाप्ते पर्वणि ततः स्वशकक््त्या पूजयेद् द्विजान्
svasti vācya dvijān ādau tataḥ kārye pravartite | samāpte parvaṇi tataḥ svaśaktyā pūjayed dvijān ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า— “เบื้องต้นให้พราหมณ์ทั้งหลายกล่าวถ้อยคำสวัสดิมงคลก่อน แล้วจึงเริ่มการสาธยาย/พิธีที่ตั้งใจไว้ ครั้นปัรวะนั้นสิ้นสุดแล้ว พึงบูชาและให้เกียรติพราหมณ์เหล่านั้นตามกำลังทรัพย์ของตน.”
