Paraśurāma’s origins and the depletion/restoration of kṣatriya lineages
क्षत्रवीर्य च सकल॑ तव मात्रे समर्पितम् । विपर्ययेण ते भद्रे नैतदेव॑ भविष्यति
kṣatravīryaṃ ca sakalaṃ tava mātre samarpitam | viparyayeṇa te bhadre naitadeva bhaviṣyati ||
เดชกล้าหาญแห่งกษัตริย์ทั้งสิ้นนั้นได้มอบไว้แก่มารดาของเจ้าแล้ว; แต่โอ้ภัทรา! หากกลับตาลปัตรขึ้นมา สิ่งนี้จักไม่เป็นไปดังที่เจ้าคาดหมาย
