Service to Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Allocation of State Duties
द्विजानां देवकार्येषु का्येष्वन्येषु चैव ह । धौम्यं पुरोधसां श्रेष्ठ नित्यमेव समादिशत्
Vaiśampāyana uvāca |
Dvijānāṃ devakāryeṣu kāryeṣv anyeṣu caiva ha |
Dhaumyaṃ purodhasāṃ śreṣṭhaṃ nityam eva samādiśat ||
ในกิจของทวิชะ (พราหมณ์) ทั้งงานบูชาเกี่ยวกับเทพและหน้าที่อื่นอันสมควรแก่พราหมณ์ พระองค์ทรงแต่งตั้งธौมยะ ผู้ประเสริฐที่สุดในหมู่ปุโรหิต ให้เป็นผู้กำกับดูแลอยู่เนืองนิตย์
