द्विजावमानादन्यत्र प्रादाद् वरमनुत्तमम् | अभयं सर्वभूतेभ्यो ददौ तस्मै जगत्पति:,जगदीश्वर ब्रह्माजीने उसे यह परम उत्तम वर देते हुए कहा कि “तुम्हें ब्राह्मणका अपमान करनेके सिवा और कहीं किसीसे भय नहीं है” इस तरह उन्होंने उसे सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंकी ओरसे अभयदान दे दिया
dvijāvamānād anyatra prādād varam anuttamam | abhayaṁ sarvabhūtebhyo dadau tasmai jagatpatiḥ ||
พระพรหมผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งโลกประทานพรอันยอดยิ่งแก่เขาและตรัสว่า “นอกจากการดูหมิ่นทวิชะ (พราหมณ์) แล้ว เจ้าจะไม่ต้องหวาดกลัวผู้ใดในที่ใด” ดังนี้พระองค์ทรงประทานอภัยแก่เขาจากสรรพสัตว์ทั้งปวง
