एवमेष महान् धर्म आद्यो राजन् सनातन: । दुरविज्ञियो दुष्करश्न सात्वतैर्धार्यते सदा
evam eṣa mahān dharma ādyō rājan sanātanaḥ | duravijñeyo duṣkaraś ca sātvatair dhāryate sadā, rājan ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “ดังนี้แล โอ้พระราชา นี่คือธรรมอันเป็นปฐมและยิ่งใหญ่ ดำรงสืบเนื่องเป็นสันตตะนิรันดร์. ผู้อื่นยากจะหยั่งรู้และยากจะปฏิบัติ; แต่เหล่าสาตวตะ ผู้เป็นภักตะแห่งพระผู้เป็นเจ้า ย่อมทรงไว้และยึดถืออยู่เสมอ”
