अथ चिन्तयतस्तस्य कर्णाभ्यां पुरुष: स्मृत: । प्रजासर्गकरो ब्रह्मा तमुवाच जगत्पति:
atha cintayatastasya karṇābhyāṃ puruṣaḥ smṛtaḥ | prajāsargakaro brahmā tamuvāca jagatpatiḥ ||
ครั้นเมื่อพระองค์ทรงดำริอยู่ ก็ประหนึ่งว่ามีบุรุษผู้เป็นดังความทรงจำปรากฏขึ้นจากพระกรรณทั้งสอง นั่นคือพระพรหม ผู้บันดาลการเกิดแห่งหมู่ประชา แล้วพระผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งโลกจึงตรัสกับท่าน
