बहुश्रुतश्चित्रकथ: पण्डितोडलालसो5शठ: । अदीनोडक्रोधनो<लुब्धस्तस्मात्‌ सर्वत्र पूजित:

Transliteration

bahuśrutaś citrakathaḥ paṇḍito ’lālaso ’śaṭhaḥ | adīno ’krodhano ’lubdhas tasmāt sarvatra pūjitaḥ ||

Translation

เขาเป็นผู้สดับตรับฟังมาก มีความรู้กว้างขวาง และเล่าเรื่องได้พิสดารน่าตรึงใจ แม้บริบูรณ์ด้วยปัญญา ก็ปราศจากความใคร่และเล่ห์กล ไม่ยอมจำนนต่อความทุกข์ ไม่ถูกแตะต้องด้วยโทสะ และไม่มัวหมองด้วยความโลภ; เพราะฉะนั้นจึงเป็นที่เคารพทั่วทุกแห่ง
