यदेवमनुजातस्य धातारो विदधु: पुरा । तदेवानुचरिष्यामि किं मे मृत्यु: करिष्यति

yad evam anujātasya dhātāro vidadhuḥ purā | tad evānucariṣyāmi kiṁ me mṛtyuḥ kariṣyati ||

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า— เมื่อแรกเกิด เหล่าผู้กำหนดชะตาได้วางบัญญัติใดไว้แก่เรา เราก็ได้ดำเนินตามบัญญัตินั้นมาตั้งแต่เกิด และจักดำเนินต่อไป แล้วความตายจะทำอันใดแก่เราได้เล่า
