द्वादशानां तु भवतामादित्यानां महात्मनाम् | तेजांस्येकेन सर्वेषां देवराज धृतानि मे,देवराज! तुमलोग जो बारह महात्मा आदित्य कहलाते हो, तुम सब लोगोंके तेज मैंने अकेले धारण कर रखे थे
dvādaśānāṁ tu bhavatām ādityānāṁ mahātmanām | tejāṁsy ekena sarveṣāṁ devarāja dhṛtāni me ||
โอ้เทวราช! ท่านทั้งสิบสองคืออาทิตยะผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ แต่รัศมีเดชของท่านทั้งปวงนั้น ข้าเพียงผู้เดียวเคยแบกรับไว้ภายในตน
श॒क्र उवाच
Collective excellence or divine power concentrated in one leader becomes a moral burden: it must be sustained with restraint, humility, and responsibility, not treated as personal entitlement.
Śakra (Indra) addresses the Devarāja, referring to the twelve Ādityas, and declares that he alone had been sustaining the combined radiance of all of them—highlighting his role as the bearer of their shared splendor.
