Jñāna-yoga and Karma-phala: Manu–Bṛhaspati on Akṣara and the Limits of Mantra

गुरुभ्य आसन देयं कर्तव्यं चाभिवादनम्‌ । गुरूनभ्यर्च्य युज्यन्ते आयुषा यशसा श्रिया,गुरुजन पधारें तो उन्हें बैठनेके लिये आसन दे, प्रणाम करे, गुरुओंकी पूजा करनेसे मनुष्य आयु, यश और लक्ष्मीसे सम्पन्न होते हैं

gurubhya āsanaṃ deyaṃ kartavyaṃ cābhivādanam | gurūn abhyarcya yujyante āyuṣā yaśasā śriyā ||

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—พึงถวายที่นั่งแก่ครูบาอาจารย์และกระทำการคำนับด้วยความเคารพ ผู้ใดบูชาครู ย่อมประกอบพร้อมด้วยอายุยืน เกียรติยศ และความรุ่งเรือง
