taṁ kāśyapo 'bravīt prīto notkaṇṭhāṁ kartum arhasi | kṛtakāryo dvijaśreṣṭha sadravyo yāsyase gṛhān |

Educational Q&A

Do not be driven by restless eagerness when the goal can be fulfilled without needless striving; once the purpose is achieved, one should return satisfied, carrying only what is rightly obtained.

Kāśyapa, pleased, reassures a brāhmaṇa addressed as ‘best of the twice-born’ that he need not proceed further; his objective will be met on the spot, and he may go home with wealth, his task completed.
