Policy of Caution: The Brahmadatta–Pūjanī Dialogue
यथैव दंशमशकं यथा चाण्डपिपीलिकम् | सैव वृत्तिरयज्ञेषु यथा धर्मो विधीयते
yathaiva daṁśamaśakaṁ yathā cāṇḍapipīlikam | saiva vṛttir ayajñeṣu yathā dharmo vidhīyate ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “ดังที่จัดการกับแมลงกัดต่อยและยุง และดังที่จัดการกับมดตัวน้อยฉันใด นโยบายต่อผู้ไร้ยัญพิธีและผู้ขัดต่อหน้าที่ก็พึงเป็นฉันนั้น ตามที่ธรรมบัญญัติไว้.”
