नार्थमल्पं परिभवेन्नावमन्येत शात्रवान् | बुद्धया तु बुद्धयेदात्मानं न चाबुद्धिषु विश्वसेत्
Translation
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “อย่าดูหมิ่นทรัพย์แม้เพียงน้อยนิด และอย่าดูแคลนศัตรูแม้เขาจะอ่อนกำลัง จงใช้ปัญญารู้เท่าทันตนและฐานะของตน และอย่าไว้วางใจผู้ไร้ปัญญาเป็นอันขาด”
