एवं कुर्यान्नरो यो हि स वै संजय पूजित: । “संजय! जो अपने तेजसे तप रहा हो
evaṁ kuryān naro yo hi sa vai saṁjaya pūjitaḥ |
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “โอ้สัญชัย บุรุษผู้ประพฤติเช่นนี้แลจึงควรแก่การสักการะ เมื่อศัตรูรุ่งโรจน์ด้วยเดชานุภาพ ได้รับการเกื้อหนุนด้วยศรีแห่งราชา และยืนอยู่ท่ามกลางญาติพี่น้องกับผู้ช่วยเหลือของตน ผู้กล้าจริงเท่านั้นจึงจะรับมือได้ตามครรลองศึก แล้วความยิ่งใหญ่อะไรเล่าจะมีในการทำร้ายผู้ที่ตายแล้ว?”
