ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “โอ้ผู้ประเสริฐแห่งวงศ์ภารตะ เมื่อใคร่ครวญเรื่องทั้งปวงนี้และความผิดของตนแล้ว จงมีจิตมุ่งสู่ความเกื้อกูลต่อปาณฑพ และคุ้มครองพวกเขาเถิด ขอนอบน้อมแด่ท่าน”
