Commencement of the Mace-Duel Proceedings
स चाप्युपगतो योद्धुं भीमेन सह साम्प्रतम्,इस समय वह भीमके साथ युद्ध करनेके लिये उनके पास जा पहुँचा है। राम! आज उन दोनोंमें बड़ा भयंकर युद्ध होगा, माधव! यदि तुम्हारे मनमें भी उसे देखनेका कौतूहल हो तो शीघ्र जाओ। यदि ठीक समझो तो अपने दोनों शिष्योंका वह महाभयंकर युद्ध अपनी आँखोंसे देख लो
sa cāpy upagato yoddhuṃ bhīmena saha sāmpratam | idānīṃ sa bhīmena saha yuddhārthaṃ teṣāṃ samīpaṃ prāptaḥ | rāma! adya tayor mahāghoraṃ yuddhaṃ bhaviṣyati | mādhava! yadi te manasi tad draṣṭuṃ kautūhalaṃ syāt tarhi śīghraṃ gaccha | yadi manyase tarhi svayoḥ śiṣyayoḥ tad mahābhayaṅkaraṃ yuddhaṃ svacakṣuṣā paśya |
นารทกล่าวว่า “เขาเองก็บัดนี้ออกไปเพื่อรบกับภีมะ และได้ไปถึงต่อหน้าพวกเขาแล้ว รามะ วันนี้จักมีศึกอันน่าสะพรึงกลัวยิ่งระหว่างคนทั้งสอง มาธวะ หากในใจท่านใคร่จะเห็น ก็จงรีบไป อย่าชักช้า หากท่านเห็นสมควร ก็จงทอดพระเนตรด้วยตนเองถึงการประจัญบานอันน่าหวาดหวั่นระหว่างศิษย์ทั้งสองของท่าน”
