अन्तरिक्षचर: श्रीमान् कलशं गृहा[ देवल: । यही सोचते हुए श्रीमान् देवलमुनि कलश हाथमें लेकर आकाशमार्गसे समुद्रतटकी ओर चल दिये
antarikṣacaraḥ śrīmān kalaśaṃ gṛhā devalaḥ | iti cintayan śrīmān devalamuniḥ kalaśaṃ hastena gṛhītvā ākāśamārgeṇa samudrataṭaṃ prati jagāma |
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—ฤๅษีเทวละผู้รุ่งเรือง ผู้ดำเนินไปในอากาศ ได้หยิบหม้อน้ำขึ้นมา ครั้นดำริแน่วแน่ดังนั้นแล้ว ท่านถือหม้อไว้ในมือ และออกเดินทางตามทางอากาศไปยังฝั่งมหาสมุทร
