Indratīrtha–Ādityatīrtha: Balarāma’s Ritual Bathing, Dāna, and Sacred-Historical Recollections
सिद्धदेवर्षिदयितं नाम्ना बदरपाचनम् | “तब विशाल एवं अरुण नेत्रोंवाली अरुन्धतीने सप्तर्षियोंकी सभामें महादेवजीसे कहा --“भगवान् यदि मुझपर प्रसन्न हैं तो यह स्थान बदरपाचन नामसे प्रसिद्ध होकर सिद्धों और देवर्षियोंका प्रिय एवं अद्भुत तीर्थ हो जाय ।।
siddhadevarṣidayitaṃ nāmnā badarapācanam | tathāsmin devadeveśa trirātram uṣitaḥ śuciḥ |
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า— สถานที่นั้นเป็นที่รู้จักในนาม ‘พทรปาจนะ’ อันเป็นที่รักของเหล่าสิทธะและฤๅษีทิพย์ทั้งหลาย และ ณ ที่นั้น ข้าแต่จอมเทพเหนือเทพ ผู้บริสุทธิ์ได้พำนักอยู่สามราตรี เป็นการสถาปนาความศักดิ์สิทธิ์และเกียรติยศของตีรถะอันอัศจรรย์นั้น
