साब्रवीत् पृथुताम्राक्षी देवं सप्तर्षिसंसदि । भगवान् यदि मे प्रीतस्तीर्थ स्पादिदमद्भुतम्
sābravīt pṛthutāmrākṣī devaṃ saptarṣi-saṃsadi | bhagavān yadi me prītas tīrtha-spād idam adbhutam ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า— ครั้นแล้วเทวีผู้มีดวงตากว้างดุจทองแดงแดงเรื่อ ได้กราบทูลต่อเทพในที่ประชุมแห่งฤๅษีทั้งเจ็ดว่า “ข้าแต่พระผู้เป็นเจ้า หากพระองค์ทรงพอพระทัยในข้าพเจ้า ขอให้ด้วยสัมผัสของพระองค์ ตีรถะอันอัศจรรย์นี้บังเกิดขึ้น ณ ที่นี้เถิด”
