आमन्त्रयतां तु कल्याणीं ततो जप्यं जजाप सः । अविदूरे ततस्तस्मादाश्रमात् तीर्थमुत्तमम्
āmantreyatāṁ tu kalyāṇīṁ tato japyaṁ jajāpa saḥ | avidūre tataḥ tasmād āśramāt tīrtham uttamam ||
ครั้นได้กล่าวกับนางกัลยาณีผู้เป็นมงคลแล้ว เขาจึงเริ่มสวดชปะตามบทที่กำหนด. ไม่ไกลจากอาศรมนั้นมีท่าน้ำศักดิ์สิทธิ์อันประเสริฐ; เขาไปที่นั่น อาบน้ำ แล้วดำรงชปะต่อไปด้วยความสำรวมและความถูกต้องตามพิธี.
