Adhyāya 33: Rauhiṇeya (Balarāma) is welcomed and takes his seat to witness the gadā-engagement

एकं वास्मान्‌ निहत्य त्वं भव राजेति वै पुनः । नूनं न राज्यभागेषा पाण्डो: कुन्त्याश्व॒ संतति:

ekaṃ vāsman nihaty tvaṃ bhava rājeti vai punaḥ | nūnaṃ na rājyabhāgeṣā pāṇḍoḥ kuntyāś ca santatiḥ ||

สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “จงสังหารพวกเราสักคนหนึ่ง แล้วท่านจักได้เป็นพระราชาอีกครั้ง แน่แท้เชื้อสายของปาณฑุและกุนตีมิได้ถูกกำหนดให้มีส่วนใดในราชอาณาจักร”
