अध्याय ३: कृपस्य दुर्योधनं प्रति नीत्युपदेशः
Kṛpa’s Counsel to Duryodhana
हत्वा तत् पुरुषानीक॑ पञ्चालानां महारथः । भीमसेन पुरस्कृत्य नचिरात् प्रत्यदृश्यत,उस पैदल सेनाका वध करके पांचाल महारथी धृष्टद्युम्न भीमसेनको आगे किये शीघ्र ही वहाँ दृष्टिगोचर हुए
hatvā tat puruṣānīkaṃ pañcālānāṃ mahārathaḥ | bhīmasenaṃ puraskṛtya nacirāt pratyadṛśyata ||
ครั้นสังหารกองทหารราบของปัญจาละนั้นแล้ว มหารถี (ธฤษฏทยุมน์) ก็ปรากฏขึ้นอีกไม่นาน โดยให้ภีมเสนอยู่แนวหน้า
