तत्र युद्ध महच्चासीत् तव पुत्रस्य पाण्डवै: । न च तत् तादृशं दृष्टं नैव चापि परिश्रुतम्,वहाँ आपके पुत्रका पाण्डवोंके साथ बड़ा भारी युद्ध हुआ। वैसा युद्ध मैंने न तो कभी देखा था और न मेरे सुननेमें ही आया था
tatra yuddhaṃ mahac cāsīt tava putrasya pāṇḍavaiḥ | na ca tat tādṛśaṃ dṛṣṭaṃ naiva cāpi pariśrutam ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “ณ ที่นั้น ได้เกิดศึกอันยิ่งใหญ่ระหว่างโอรสของท่านกับเหล่าปาณฑพ ศึกเช่นนั้นข้าพเจ้าไม่เคยเห็นมาก่อน และไม่เคยได้ยินจากผู้ใดเลย”
