evam etan mahārāja yuddhaśeṣam avartata | tava durmantrite rājan saha putrasya bhārata ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่มหาราช โอ้กษัตริย์เชื้อสายภรตะ เรื่องเป็นดังนี้เอง—เศษเสี้ยวและบทอวสานของสงครามได้เป็นไป ด้วยคำปรึกษาอันผิดพลาดของพระองค์ พร้อมทั้งพระโอรส”
संजय उवाच
