यादृशेन पुरस्कृत्य त्वं गत: सर्वपार्थिवान्‌ । “महाराज! आप जिस भावसे समस्त राजाओंको आगे करके स्वर्ग सिधार रहे हैं, हम पापी ऐसा भाव कहाँसे ला सकेंगे?

yādṛśena puraskṛtya tvaṁ gataḥ sarvapārthivān |

สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่มหาราช! ด้วยอัธยาศัยอันสูงส่งเช่นใดที่พระองค์เสด็จสู่สวรรค์ ประหนึ่งทรงให้บรรดากษัตริย์ทั้งปวงอยู่เบื้องหน้า—พวกเราผู้มีบาปจักหาใจเช่นนั้นได้จากที่ใด?”
