कृपोपदेशः — द्रौणेरनिद्रा च
Kṛpa’s Counsel and Drauṇi’s Sleepless Resolve
अनुयास्यावहे त्वां तु प्रभाते सहितावुभौ । अद्य रात्रौ विश्रमस्व विमुक्तकवचध्वज:,आज रातमें कवच और ध्वजा खोलकर विश्राम करो। कल सबेरे हम दोनों एक साथ होकर तुम्हारे पीछे-पीछे चलेंगे
anuyāsyāvahe tvāṃ tu prabhāte sahitāv ubhau | adya rātrau viśramasva vimuktakavacadhvajaḥ ||
ยามรุ่งอรุณ เราทั้งสองจักตามไปเบื้องหลังเจ้า คืนนี้จงพักผ่อนเสีย โดยวางเกราะและธงรบลง
कृप उवाच
Even in a violent, urgent context, right conduct includes restraint and preparedness: rest when needed, set aside the symbols of combat, and proceed in coordinated order rather than impulsive action.
Kṛpa addresses a companion (contextually among the Kaurava survivors), advising him to rest for the night without armor and banner, and promising that at dawn Kṛpa and another ally will accompany and follow him together.
