वैशम्पायन उवाच एवं विलपतीं कुन्तीमभिवाद्य प्रणम्प च । पाण्डवा विगतानन्दा वनायैव प्रवव्रजु:,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--इस प्रकार विलाप करती हुई माता कुन्तीको अभिवादन एवं प्रणाम करके पाण्डवलोग दुःखी हो वनको चले गये
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: evaṁ vilapatīṁ Kuntīm abhivādya praṇamya ca | Pāṇḍavā vigatānandā vanāyaiva pravavrajuḥ ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—ครั้นถวายความเคารพและกราบลงต่อกุนตีผู้ร่ำไห้คร่ำครวญดังนั้นแล้ว เหล่าปาณฑพผู้สิ้นเริงรื่นก็ออกเดินทางมุ่งสู่ป่าแต่เพียงอย่างเดียว
