Sabhā Parva, Adhyāya 68 — Pāṇḍavānāṃ Vanavāsa-prasthānaḥ; Duḥśāsana-nindā; Pāṇḍava-pratijñāḥ

प्रह्नादो नाम दैत्येन्द्रस्तस्य पुत्रो विरोचन: । कन्याहेतोराज्धिरसं सुधन्वानमुपाद्रवत्‌,दैत्यराज प्रह्लादके एक पुत्र था विरोचन। उसका केशिनी नामवाली एक कन्याकी प्राप्तिके लिये अंगिराके पुत्र सुधन्वाके साथ विवाद हो गया

Prahlādo nāma daityendras tasya putro Virocanaḥ | kanyā-heto rājadhirasaṃ Sudhanvānām upādravat ||

วิทุระกล่าวว่า: มีจอมแห่งไทตยะนามว่า ปรหฺลาดะ บุตรของเขาคือ วิโรจนะ ด้วยเหตุแห่งการได้มาซึ่งกัญญา วิโรจนะจึงก่อเวรวิวาทกับสุธันวะ บุตรแห่งอังคิรัส แล้วเข้าจู่โจมเขา
